Description: Hello We are Barefoot Belly Agency and we provide post partum doula and baby nurse services to families looking for help to go through those overwhelming moments after birth, when mommies and daddies are tired and they need a helping hand caring for mom and baby, breastfeeding education and support, newborn care education, helping with household chores, preparation of light meals and snacks for mom and older siblings, laundry, run errands and even if you just need to get some sleep and would like a newborn specialist caring for your little one while you sleep. Our wonderful doulas and baby nurses are trained, certified, experienced women with many years in the field, caring for families and their little babies. Their experience will help new parents through the first weeks or months of baby's life and they are prepared to assist families of premature babies (apnea,bradycardia), special needs, multiples, reflux, singles,etc... We can't leave mommy out of course, because baby's need a healthy mother and that's why our doulas will keep the post partum mommy well nourished and hydrated, will provide support and help resources in case she's suffering from a post partum mood disorder or had a difficult birth and help with recovery after a c-section. Our professionals will help you with baby's first bath, umbilical cord care, bottle feedings, cleaning and sterilization, organization of baby's clothes and laundry,etc... Our caring doulas and baby nurses are carefully selected and to become a member of our staff , they had to undergo an extensive criminal backround check. They are also insured, TB tested,CPR/First Aid certified and constantly updating their knowledge by attending seminars, workshops and several classes to improve their service to you.
