For Customers

Always ask for references. While all service providers are strongly encouraged to provide background check, Benefito makes no representations or warranties as to the conduct of such individuals or their compatibility with any current or future customers. To control spams and unsolicitaed phone calls, we have created a Private Message system where users can communicate without providing their direct contact information to the other users. We recommend that you and the service provider communicate via PM before direct contact. We also recommend that you and the provider inteview each other on the phone and in person before a job.

Customers are strongly encouraged to use the following third party verification services to provide verification:

For Service Providers

Contact the customer using Benefito's private message system before giving out your direct contact information
Interview the customers before the jobs via telephone or in person
Always use common sense safety tips when meeting customers the first time
Always let friend and family know where you will be
Always set the payment terms short to encourage prompt payment
Do a background check and address verification of the customer
If you do not feel comfortable working with the customer, terminate the services right away
